I was challenged by Brian’s “Abraham series” last year. He talked about Abraham waiting for God’s promise to him to be fulfilled, and one Sunday particularly challenged me when he said: “What are you NOT expecting God to do?!”
I had been praying for a specific matter for quite some time and nothing seemed to be happening and then, by December last year God answered this prayer in a most unexpected way. I think I needed this reminder to trust God always, with everything and have realised that his timing is perfect.
