Day 30 BONUS

When I was pregnant with my third baby, I went to a routine scan. I waltzed in alone thinking nothing of it, only to be told that I was in early labour. I was 23 weeks pregnant. I was sent home and told not to do anything at all. I remember a midwife giving me a sympathetic look, as if to say it’s not looking good.

That Sunday, I went to church and I asked for prayer over the baby. The following Tuesday I had another scan and the consultant didn’t understand how my labour had not only stopped, but had actually reversed. I was told to stay on the medication as a precaution, but it was as if nothing had happened.

The pregnancy progressed and at another routine scan, I was told the baby was small. She was measuring tiny and they were concerned. I again prayed and relied on my faith. At the next appointment, the baby had jumped 3 centiles and was an average size.

And in October 2023, Mary was born. During labour she was in distress with her heart rate dropping. When she was born, the midwife handed her to me and declared “here’s your miracle baby”. The umbilical cord had a double knot and the midwife was confused how Mary was alive at all. She said this should have been a stillbirth. She asked permission to show the hospital staff the umbilical cord as she didn’t know how it could sustain a live birth.

We thank God every day for our little miracle who has filled this last year with happiness, joy and light. She is proof that with faith, nothing is impossible.

Do you need a miracle? A total reversal or ‘impossible’ breakthrough? Bring this to God today!
